GENERAL

Are the salonboats heated and will the cruise go ahead with bad weather?
All boats are covered and equipped with central heating, which means that we can continue cruising in winter or in bad weather and it is pleasantly warm on board.

Where is the start and end location? 
In the center of Amsterdam you can board and disembark free of charge within the canal belt, outside the center we charge a small fee. Convenient location for the Doubletree by Hilton hotel (address is Oosterdokskade 8) next to the central station, easily accessible by public transport and parking is possible under the hotel in the Oosterdok garage.

Is there a fixed or flexibel route?
The route is flexibel and depends on the location, departure time and your wishes. You can discuss this in advance when booking or on board with the captain.

Can we play music ?
Yes on board the Elisabeth, Jean Schmitz, Monne de Miranda, and Viking is a good music installation where a telephone can be connected via Bluetooth.

Is free WiFi available?
Free WiFi is available on the salonboats Elisabeth, Jean Schmitz and Monne de Miranda.

Does the captain tell you about the sights along the way?
The captain is also the guide and can tell a lot about Amsterdam in Dutch or English.

Is there a toilet available?
Yes on all the boats is a toilet available.  

Is there a microphone available?
A microphone is available on the Elisabeth, Jean Schmitz, Monne de Miranda and Viking.

Can a wheelchair or pram be taken on board?
Certainly, if it can be folded. At the entrance, there is a small staircase of 4 steps. The crew is happy to help all guests on board safely.

Can we give a presentation and is there a projector or TV available?
On the Jean Schmitz there is room for a television, on the Monne de Miranda and Viking we can also place a projector. Rent for the television is 75 euros, the projector with screen 150 euros.

Can we 'rebrand' the boat with our own logo or advertising?
Certainly in consultation, for example with your own flag, pillows, napkins or other advertising material.


CATERING

Is there a bar available?
All boats have an extensive bar and will be calculated according to consumption or we can offer a unlimited Dutch or International bar, click here for the drinklist.

Can we bring snacks ourselves?
Bringing your own snacks is possible and free of charge. Drinks or other catering will go through us.

Can we pass on the choices on board for seated dinner?
With a luxury dinner the choices can be made on board. For the exclusive dinner up to 8 persons. With more persons or live cooking dinner we would like to receive the choices at least 4 days in advance.

Allergy or dietary requirements
We would like to receive in advance which allergies or dietary requirements it concerns so we can forward this to the restaurant or caterer.


TO RESERVE

I want to cruise today, is this possible?
Yes we organize last-minute boat cruises and are available daily between 9 AM and 11 PM on +31 (0)20 422 9222. Please give a call if you would like to book lastminute. 

Can we decide on board to cruise longer?
That is possible if our schedule allows this. This is possible in consultation with the captain and/or service on board.

What are the payment terms?
As soon as we have received the confirmation we will send a deposit of 1/3 of the total amount by mail and ask to pay this via iDeal, credit card or bank transfer. After the cruise the remaining amount and drinks on board can be settled via pin, credit card, cash or on invoice. 

How can I pay on board?
We accept cash, Maestro, Mastercard, Visa, and American Express on all the boats.

Can we step by to discuss our options and view the boat? 
We have a small office at Binnenkant 1 in Amsterdam and you are very welcome to discuss the cruise and view the salonboat.
The salonboats Elisabeth and Monne de Miranda are located next to our office on the Binnenkant, the Jean Schmitz at Hotel de l'Europe and the Viking in the Amsterdam Marina. Please give a call or email before so we can make sure we are around.
